Matthew Oberstaedt is a Senior Communications Associate at FairVote. He has a BA in political science from The George Washington University, where he enjoyed studying the different election systems used around the world. After moving to Washington, DC he became active in the DC Statehood movement to make sure every American has the ability to vote for Representatives in Congress. He is excited to help in FairVote’s mission to expand ranked choice voting throughout the United States and make our elections fairer for everyone.
