The latest election reform news
- Washington, DC is gearing up for its first RCV election this June. This week, the city saw its first cross-endorsement between two candidates – a sign of how RCV makes campaigns more positive. Read more.
- On Wednesday, Virginia became the first state this year to pass a ranked choice voting bill into law – expanding the Commonwealth’s RCV pilot program and making it permanent. Read more and watch the video below.
- Amid a nationwide gerrymandering war between red and blue states, Virginia voters approved a new congressional map. To solve gerrymandering, the United States needs a national shift to proportional representation. Read more.
